The Eee PC 1005PE and Eee PC 1001P are Asus’s netbooks for 2010, powered by the latest Intel “Pine Trail” Intel Atom N450 processor that are designed to deliver better battery life (11-14 hours). The Eee PC 1005PE has 2 sub-models are 1005PE-M and 1005PE-P, While the Eee PC 1001P divided into 1001P-M and 1001P-P. The main differences are battery life, storage size, screen type, keyboard layout, wirless n and bluetooth support.

What are the differences between the 1005PE and the 1005PR?

The Eee PC 1005PR has a 10.1 inch screen size of traditional netbooks, but adds a 1366 x 768 screen. This new model embedded HD Decoder Broadcom, which comes with ArcSoft Total Media Theater to smoothly play high definition quality video. We can enjoy HD video entertainment on the unit’s 10.1 inch high definition screen.

Other specs of the Eee PC 1005PR is similar to the Eee PC 1005PE. Both netbooks have Intel Atom N450 processor, GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1.
