The ASUS Eee PC Seashell is a light weight netbook packed with all the computer essentials. It is powered by Intel Atom N450 processor, contains 1 GB of RAM, a 250 GB hard drive, 3 in 1 card reader with bluetooth capabilities, built in Wi-Fi and 10.1 inch screen with 1024×600 resolution. It also has 3 USB ports, standard headset microphone jack, and VGA and Ethernet port. It has a multi touch touchpad for easy navigation and a Chicklet keyboard. The battery life is pretty substantial at about 11 hours of plug free use. That alone makes it the ideal netbook for a visit to local cyber café and book store. The Seashell packs a big punch for a netbook.

The sharp design and red color make it one of the snazziest netbooks around and a nice break from the traditional black or silver netbook. The most popular feature of the Seashell is the battery life with the clear, high density graphics running a close second; make the Seashell a popular brand. The weight and size makes this netbook very portable and a favorite choice for business people on the entrepreneurial go or the traveler on the go. It fits neatly into a briefcase or back pack for easy carrying. The generous hard drive has plenty of room to store all the important notes and pictures or the latest report for your best customer.

The keyboard is small in overall length and width but the keys are spaced far enough apart to make typing easy and finger fumble free. The one drawback users report with the Seashell is the smaller than normal right shift key. Some find it a big problem while others take a little getting used to it.

The touch pad is the same typical small one found on most netbooks. It has a wrist rest and outlined with tiny red dots. It has a right and left click mouse buttons in a rocker arm fashion.

The Atom Intel N450 processor is more than capable of handling day to day office applications, chatting, multimedia applications and internet browsing. The speakers are rather small it might be wise to consider headphones or ear phones for a better sound experience. The VGA port allows the user to connect to a larger monitor for presentations or video viewing.

The features and the price combine for a one two punch that netbook fans love. It is a small computer capable of doing the big job.
