Beside the netbooks listed above, the Samsung NP305U1A-A02US 11.6Inch Laptop ($499) is also worth checking out although it only comes with 3 hours of battery life and the HP Pavillion dm1-3210us 11.6-Inch Laptop ($449) is also great but it is the older model of our #2 dm1-4010us and is weaker.

As a general rule of thumb on all of the aforementioned products, if you are looking for a more powerful processor in a mini laptop, consider the Acer Aspire TimelineX AS1830T-6651 11.6” laptop ($599 $551) or the HP Pavilion dm1-4050us 11.6” laptop ($649 $611); the former comes with a Intel Core i3 processor while the HP comes with an i5. The HP Pavilion also provides a better battery life (10 hours versus 8 on the Acer model).
